Education Past and Present
8. A teacher who inspired me to be a fun and interactive teacher was my fifth grade teacher. I remember alot of the things we did in class because she was set on helping us learn the information.
9. I feel that a huge issue facing education now is the the fact that our children are not learning. Many students I know just get passed along to the next grade without even knowing the required information. We as educators need to make a true effort with making sure the kids know the information. In the long run only person it is hurting is not the teacher but it is doing a huge injustice to each child.
10. What we need to do in class is projects and lesson plans or any activity that will be hands on and help me to remember the information. (2) I do not have any topics in mind that must me covered in this class.(4) I do not at this time have any topics in which to avoid.

Learning Style
Learning Style and more:
5. I am primarily a visual learner and secondarily a kinesthtic learner. I appreciate the opportunity to see things and have a hands on experience with the material. I do not like working in groups but I do it because it is a class requirement and I know that it is apart of the work environment.
6. I am not really a big participator when it comes to class participation. a)I prefer to have written work to turn in without having to discuss it. b) I have alot going on with working three jobs and class, but I do make every effort to do the assigned readings and work before class. e) The first thing that I do when you cannot or do not understand something is shut down. If I have to read an article and do not understand it it frustrates me. I will at that point just read the article just to get through it without trying to comprehend the information.
